David Blaine, M.D., who is not new to the Beckley ARH family, was recently appointed as ARH West Virginia Regional Chief Medical
Officer. Dr. Blaine is a board-certified Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialist with his office located at the ARH
Medical Mall in Beckley. Dr. Blaine has many years of medical staff leadership experience having served as Chief of Staff, Vice
Chief of Staff, and Chair of the Department of Surgery, Quality Assessment and Improvement, Medical Staff Bylaws, and
Nominating Committees, as well as Secretary-Treasurer of the Medical Executive Committee. And Dr. Blaine has served as a
member of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Nominations, Trauma Peer Review, and Ethics Advisory Committees.
