Delgate Daniel Linville

Daniel Linville is a life-long West Virginian and resident of Cabell County. He has never called another place home. Delegate Daniel Linville represents Cabell and Lincoln Counties in the 16th District of the West Virginia House of Delegates. Delegate Linville serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Technology and Infrastructure. He served for three years as an Ex-Officio member of the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council representing the House of Delegates. Additionally, he currently serves on the Finance, Small Business Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, and Senior Children and Family Issues committees. His work on technology and broadband internet expansion in the West Virginia Legislature has been featured by the Pew Charitable Trusts, Forbes, Americans for Prosperity, Government Executive Media Group, Government Technology Magazine, and many more. Delegate Linville has also testified about his broadband internet legislation before the North Carolina House of Representatives and the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee of the Southern Legislative Conference of the Council of State Governments. Daniel is a proud graduate of Marshall University, home of the Thundering Herd Men’s Soccer NCAA National Champions. In his private life, he is an Information Technology Director, a member of the Rotary Club of Milton, Cabell-Wayne Beekeeper’s Association, the Keith Albee Performing Arts Theater Board of Directors and several other charitable and civic organizations.
