Diana Barnette is the Managing Member of Fountain Place Cinema, LLC and Gatti’s Pizza of
Logan, LLC. In this capacity she is responsible for directing and supervising General Managers
and Assistant Mangers in all aspects, and for the marketing of both corporations. The cinema
and the restaurant share the goals of the Hatfield McCoy CVB and tourism industry to provide
guests with a memorable and pleasant experience to assure a return visit. In addition to her positions with the cinema and Gatti’s, Diana and her husband, Ronald, own and operate Mining Repair
Specialists, Incorporated and Holy Smoke Coal, LLC.
The newest tourist-based venture is Appalachian Outpost. With 13 cabins completed to date, with 12 more being completed by spring 2021, Appalachian Outpost will provide much needed lodging for the Hatfield-McCoy trail system. In addition, future plans include retail, restaurants, and other ancillary businesses to compliment the cabins.
Diana is community-minded and donates an abundance of time and energy into local community service organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and the Hatfield McCoy Convention & Visitors Bureau. She is a past President of the Kiwanis Club of Logan and volunteers for many church and Civic organizations.
In 2011 Diana receive the “Woman of the Year” award from the Southern WV Community and
Technical College women’s Leadership Institute for her dedication to community service and the
betterment of our area.
In 2013 Diana and her husband, Ronald, received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the
Logan County Chamber of Commerce for giving back to the community through leadership, volunteerism and philanthropy with many local organizations.
In 2015 Diana received the “Because of You” Community Investment Award for her contributions
to West Virginia’s coalfield awarded by Marshall University’s Center for Environmental Geotechnical and applied sciences.
