Jason Wilburn is the co-owner of Paul Wissmach Glass Company in Paden City, WV and President of FOERSTER Instruments, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the FOERSTER Group. FOERSTER develops and manufactures instruments and systems for non-destructive testing.
Jason and his wife Annabelle Javier purchased Wissmach in 2021. The company, established in 1904 and continuously operated, in Paden City, West Virginia, manufactures glass for a beautiful and creative world. Wissmach colored sheet glass is available in a variety of textures and is used by artists, builders, and crafters who help make the world a beautiful and creative place.
Jason has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Management and Manufacturing Degree from Pennsylvania State University. Jason has attended several executive education courses including topic areas of leadership, strategic planning, and negotiating
In addition to his work with FOERSTER Jason enjoys advising early-stage industrial companies. Jason is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for Penn State’s Quality and Manufacturing Management Program and is actively involved in the Center for Positive Organizations at the Michigan Ross School of Business. Jason is also on the board of the West Virginia Manufacturers Association Education Fund. Outside of work, Jason primarily enjoys traveling with his wife and two sons, riding his skateboard and practicing yoga.
