Lata Menon

Lata Menon is the CEO of First Choice Services, Inc., a West Virginia non-profit that operates ten public helplines for the state, as well as five for other states. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and Master’s Degrees in Public Administration and Social Work from West Virginia University.  Lata’s work focuses on increasing public access to social services, health care, behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, and other social supports. Though not a native, she has been in West Virginia since 1995 and is proud to call it home. When not at work, Lata spends her time trying to soak up this one last year prior to having a fully empty nest.
