Wendy Patriquin
(Moderator)

Wendy Patriquin, D.M., has served as the Dean for Transfer and Pre-Professional Programs at New River Community and Technical College in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia since July 2017. She completed her Doctorate in Management in Community College Policy and Administration in August of 2016 at the University of Maryland, University College, where her dissertation centered on internationalizing the American community college campus. Her passion for helping students achieve their goals shone through during the 15 years she taught in and directed an intensive English-as-a-Second Language program at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, where she additionally served as the Humanities department chair for 2 years before coming to New River CTC. In her free time, Dean Patriquin enjoys reading, doing crossword puzzles, hiking, and kayaking.
